Ypresiomyrma orbiculata
Taxonomy
Ypresiomyrma orbiculata was named by Archibald et al. (2006). Its type specimen is UCCIPR L-18 F-749, an exoskeleton (Queen body with wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
