Macabeemyrma ovata
Taxonomy
Macabeemyrma ovata was named by Archibald et al. (2006). Its type specimen is UCCIPR L-18 F-844 (856), an exoskeleton (queen mostly complete but poorly preserved ), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
