Myrmeciites herculeanus

Taxonomy
Myrmeciites herculeanus was named by Archibald et al. (2006). Its type specimen is UCCIPRL-18 F-974, an exoskeleton (worker, mostly well preserved in lateral aspect), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
