Multispongia aspera
Taxonomy
Multispongia aspera was named by Carrera (2006). It is not extant. Its type locality is Las Aguaditas, Jachal, upper San Juan Formation, which is in a Llanvirn open shallow subtidal wackestone/lime mudstone in the San Juan Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Multispongia.
