Myrmeciites goliath
Taxonomy
Myrmeciites goliath was named by Archibald et al. (2006). Its type specimen is UCCIPR L-18 F-999(1000), an exoskeleton (large ant preserved in dorsolateral aspect), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
