Taxonomy
Omphaloptycha laticonvexa was named by Wang (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhongying Section Bed 43 (QZ-29), Qinglong County, which is in a Griesbachian offshore mudstone in the Feixianguan Formation of China.
