Myrmeciites tabanifluviensis
Taxonomy
Myrmeciites tabanifluviensis was named by Archibald et al. (2006). Its type specimen is 2003.2.10 CDM 034, an exoskeleton (well preserved body fragments and wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Black Creek Road Locality (Horsefly River), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine shale in Canada.
