Archimyrmex rostratus
Taxonomy
Archimyrmex rostratus was named by Cockerell (1923). Its type specimen is UCM 15174, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ute Trail, Roan Plateau (station 1), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
