Diatomyzus eocaenicus

Taxonomy
Diatomyzus eocaenicus was named by Heie (1970). Its type specimen is M-4-5-6 Sp $, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Knude Klint (Knuden), Fur, which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp diatomite/carbonate in the Fur Formation of Denmark. It is the type species of Diatomyzus.
