Taxonomy
Cathaysia kengbingensis was named by Wang (1982). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kengbing Section, Tongziyan Formation, Longyan County, which is in a Capitanian marine siliciclastic in the Tongziyan Formation of China.
