Taxonomy
Zhexichonetes longispina was named by Liang (1982). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Luotanggang, Jiangshan County, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Dingjiashan Formation of China. It is the type species of Zhexichonetes.
