Taxonomy
Necracantha composita was named by Martynov (1929). Its type specimen is PIN 2113/6, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Mount Ashutas, river Irtysh (PIN collection 2113), which is in a Chattian terrestrial claystone in Kazakhstan.
