Ponticulocarpus robisoni

Taxonomy
Ponticulocarpus robisoni was named by Sumrall and Sprinkle (1999). Its type specimen is 1807TX1, an other (theca), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is CF-1, Calls Fort [Spence Shale Mbr, Langston Fm], which is in a Delamaran deep subtidal ramp mudstone in the Langston Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Ponticulocarpus.
