Prodontocerum ligniticum

Taxonomy
Prodontocerum ligniticum was named by Piton (1940). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Coll. Piton 227 and is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Menat (Piton collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France.
