Taxonomy
Pseudogastrioceras guangxiense was named by Zhao et al. (1978). Its type specimen is NIGP 14812 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangliucun (Dapu), Liucheng County, which is in a Changhsingian deep-water siliciclastic in the Dalong Formation of China.
