Taxonomy
Echinalosia dejecta was named by Waterhouse (1986). Its type specimen is UQF 73955 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L4820, Buffel Hill, Cracow Station, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Buffel Formation of Australia.
