Notoconularia levigata

Scyphozoa - Conulariida - Conulariidae

Conularia levigata was named by Morris (1845). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Illawarra (Strzelecki coll), which is in a Wordian coastal siliciclastic in the Gerringong Formation of Australia.

It was corrected as Conularia laevigata by M'Coy (1847) and Johnston (1887); it was recombined as Notoconularia laevigata by Thomas (1969); it was recombined as Notoconularia levigata by Waterhouse (1986).
