Costatumulus tumidus
Taxonomy
Auriculispina tumida was named by Waterhouse (1983). Its type specimen is UQ F73302, a valve (Ventral valve internal mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is UQ L4515, Homevale, which is in an Artinskian marine sandstone in the Tiverton Formation of Australia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Costatumulus farleyensis by Briggs (1998); it was recombined as Costatumulus tumidus by Waterhouse (1986) and Li et al. (2012).
