Ambites lilangensis

Taxonomy
Meekoceras lilangense was named by Krafft (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1mi N of Lilang, which is in a Dienerian marine horizon in India.

It was recombined as Prionolobus lilangensis by Spath (1934); it was recombined as Prionolobus lilangense by Gibson (1971); it was recombined as Lilangia lilangensis by Waterhouse (1996); it was recombined as Ambites lilangensis by Ware et al. (2011), Ware and Bucher (2018), Ware and Bucher (2018) and Dai et al. (2023).
