Taxonomy
Kuvelousia sphiva was named by Waterhouse (1968). Its type specimen is GSC 22910 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 76029, Cape Fortune, Cameron Island, which is in a Wordian marine sandstone in Canada.
