Taxonomy
Sinohelicoprion changhsingensis was named by Liu and Chang (1963). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meikuanghoushan, Changxing County, which is in a Changhsingian offshore ramp limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
