---|---|---|
T. A. Gates et al. 2011 | Hadrosaurine hadrosaurids that possess a diastema approximately one third the length of the tooth row; long anteromedial maxillary process seen through external nares and not associated with premaxillary downturning; anterior process of jugal dorsoventrally symmetrical; posteroventral jugal flange long and narrow, distinctly set off from jugal body more prominently than in Gryposaurus or Kritosaurus; alar process larger and more highly angled than in other hadrosaurine species; deeply developed basipterygoid ridge that extends ventrally between and to the ventral level of the basipterygoid processes; a short, mediolaterally narrow median process on the basipterygoid ridge that is much smaller than in all other hadrosaurine taxa. |
