Taxonomy
Pondospirifer crassiconcha was named by Waterhouse and Chen (2007). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PN5, Peak 17315, Marsyangdi, which is in a Changhsingian coastal siltstone/shale in the Senja Formation of Nepal.
