Taxonomy
Maorielasma campbelli was named by Waterhouse and Chen (2007). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is PP4, Puchenpra Ridge, Marsyangdi, Manang area, which is in a Changhsingian coastal sandstone in the Senja Formation of Nepal.
