Mytilidesmatella woodi
Taxonomy
Atomodesma woodi was named by Waterhouse (1963). Its type specimen is NZGS TM3645 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS4652, Waipahi River, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the AG4 Formation of New Zealand. It is the type species of Mytilidesmatella.
It was recombined as Mytilidesmatella woodi by Waterhouse (1979).
