Kozlowskia capaci
Taxonomy
Productus capacii was named by d'Orbigny (1842). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaurichambi (d'Orbigny coll), which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Productus longispina by Salter (1861); it was corrected as Productus capaci by Kozlowski (1914); it was recombined as Marginifera capaci by Chronic (1953); it was recombined as Kozlowskia capaci by Grant (1976) and Badyrka et al. (2013).
