Taxonomy
Streblochondria erecta was named by Waterhouse (1982). Its type specimen is NZGS TM3382 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS7345, Letham Burn (D44/f9863), which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Letham Formation of New Zealand.
