Taxonomy
Streblochondria orbiculata was named by Waterhouse (1982). Its type specimen is NZGS TM3630 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS5077, Arthurton (G45/f8592), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the AG4 Formation of New Zealand.
