Taxonomy
Squamularia postgrandis was named by Waterhouse (1983). Its type specimen is TBR 470 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huai Mae Phlung, Doi Pha Phlung 20F, Lampang Province, which is in a Changhsingian marine shale in the Huai Tak Formation of Thailand.
