Taxonomy
Sulcirugaria transversa was named by Waterhouse (1983). Its type specimen is UQ F73587 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L4803, Manang District, which is in a Changhsingian marine siliciclastic in the Senja Formation of Nepal.
