Taxonomy
Fusispirifer pauciplicus was named by Waterhouse (1987). Its type specimen is UQ F42221 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L4850, Mount Breast, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Barfield Formation of Australia.
