Taxonomy
Corpulentapus lilasia was named by Li et al. (2011). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CU 214.174, 214,172, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Huanghuazhen tracksite, which is in a Barremian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Longwangzhuang Formation of China.
