Taxonomy
Lampadosocrinus variabilis was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is QMF21450 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is QML757-761 unspecified, Callytharra-Byro track, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Callytharra Formation of Australia.
