Taxonomy
Texacrinus gascoynensis was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is WAM91.698 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jimba Jimba Station, unknown locality, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in Australia.
