Metacalceolispongia cherrabunensis

Taxonomy
Cymbiocrinus cherrabunensis was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is CPC30684 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East side of Mount Hardman, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal siliciclastic in the Hardman Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Metacalceolispongia.

It was recombined as Metacalceolispongia cherrabunensis by Webster and Jell (1999).
