Taxonomy
Jimbacrinus donnellyensis was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is CPC30685 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Donnelly's Well type section, which is in a Kungurian marine sandstone in the Bulgadoo Formation of Australia.
