Taxonomy
Rhopaloblastus cuspidus was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is QMF21519 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is QML757, Callytharra-Byro track, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Callytharra Formation of Australia.
