Cretotortor zherichini

Taxonomy
Cretotortor zherichini was named by Ponomarenko (1973). Its type specimen is PIN 2383/215, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kzyl-Zhar Locality (PIN collection 2383), which is in a Turonian pond mudstone in Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Cretotortor.
