Taxonomy
Glaukosocrinus middalyaensis was named by Webster and Jell (1999). Its type specimen is QM F38881 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is QML1240, Minilya-Lyndon Road, Gooch Range, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Callytharra Formation of Australia.
