Taxonomy
Notiocatillocrinus oakiensis was named by Willink (1978). Its type specimen is UNE F15305 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oakey Dam, Armidale, which is in an Artinskian marine siliciclastic in Australia. It is the type species of Notiocatillocrinus.
