Taxonomy
Taucatillocrinus giganteus was named by Willink (1978). Its type specimen is ANU 35013 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warden Head Ulladulla, which is in a Permian marine siltstone in the Ulladulla District Formation of Australia.
