Ligavena gracilipes
Taxonomy
Ligavena gracilipes was named by Hamilton (1992). Its type specimen is NMVP 103350, an exoskeleton (dorsal compression with upper portion of head missing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is NMVPL425, Koonwarra, which is in an Aptian pond claystone/siltstone in Australia. It is the type species of Ligavena.
