Taxonomy
Calceolispongia teicherti was named by Willink (1979). Its type specimen is AM F19197 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warden Head, Ulladulla, which is in a Roadian prodelta siltstone in the Wandrawandian Formation of Australia.
