Neomultithecopora mccutcheonae
Taxonomy
Syringopora mccutcheonae was named by Wilson and Langenheim (1962). Its type specimen is UCMP 34667 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP B-6193, Water Canyon, which is in an Asselian shallow subtidal limestone in Nevada.
It was recombined as Neomultithecopora mccutcheonae by Wilson and Langenheim (1993).
