Parapavona major

Anthozoa - Stauriida - Pseudopavonidae

Taxonomy
Parapavona major was named by Wu et al. (1985). Its type specimen is GSC 71578 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 79408, Nakina Lake, which is in a Pendleian carbonate limestone in the Horsefeed Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Parapavona.
