Ketyna was named by Rozova (1963) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Fran-u O Trem Sepkoski's reference number: 483,618]. It is not extant. Its type is Ketyna ketiensis.
It was synonymized subjectively with Kujandaspis by Jell and Adrain (2002).
It was assigned to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Eulomidae by Zhou and Zhen (2008).
