Taxonomy
Araxopora affinispinata was named by Xia (1985). Its type specimen is NIGP 90175 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shilin stone forest ADL494, Lunan, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
