Taxonomy
Basslerella subola was named by Wang (2005). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shencun Section, Bed 51, 3902-51-J, Tonglu, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the Chuanshan Formation of China.
