Pyruspongia ruga

Taxonomy
Pyruspongia ruga was named by Rigby (1971). It is not extant. Its type locality is McBeth Point-Cat Head-Lynx Point, Lake Winnipeg, which is in a Maysvillian carbonate dolomite/chert in the Red River Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Pyruspongia.
