Pseudodalatias barnstonensis

Taxonomy
Dalatias barnstonensis was named by Sykes (1971). Its type specimen is BMNH P51407, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barnstone railway cutting, which is in a Rhaetian coastal siliciclastic in the Westbury Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Pseudodalatias barnstonensis by Reif (1978), Tintori (1980) and Duffin and Delsate (1993).
